Introducing!!!

June 25th 2007 (1 day after our 1st year wedding anniversary)

8am
Patrick goes to work

9am
Michelle goes to work

9:10am
Michelle feels "pee" in her pants. She goes to the bathroom, wiped, and then goes back to work.

9:15am
5 mins later she gets another gush of "pee". Michelle decides to call her MD. MD tells her to wait it out and see him later at his office at 4pm.

9:30am
Michelle co-workers convinces her to go to the ER.

10am
Michelle calls Patrick to come home because she THINKS her water may have broken. She leaves work.

10:10am
Michelle arrives at home and takes a shower. Still no pain. Sits at home and waits for Patrick to return from work.

11am
Patrick returns from work to check on Michelle. Her doctor says if there is no pain or urge to push to come for a regular checkup at 4pm.

11:30
Michelle feels the URGE to go to the washroom and poo every 5 mins with mininum pain and minor discomfort. Later, we find out that these were actually contractions!! We call the MD again and a decision is made to admit Michelle to the hospital.

11:40
We proceed to Lincoln Park Hospital, but not before we drop off the pager at Michelle's work and fill a few gallons of gas into the Audi. Who would have know there is NOON BUMPER-to BUMPER traffic on the 94! Patrick gets there by running RED lights and riding on the shoulder of the highway due to Michelles kicking, moaning and screaming which were now coming between 2 to 5 minutes.

12:15pm
We arrive at LPH to be greeted at the door of the hospital with a nurse and wheel chair. Michelle is received into the maternity ward at 5cm dilated.

1:30pm
Doctor arrives the the hospital as Michelle reaches 9cm dilated. It was time to push!!

2:00pm
Michelle starts to push ...

2:40pm
Jayden Michael Louie arrives into the world 6 pounds 4 ounces at 18".
