HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 
This past Friday Patrick and I ordered a take-out pizza from Little Caesar (btw - $5 for a one-topping pizza makes a great snack). And because we were on our way back to Skokie from my mom's house, we decided to give them a call 1st just make sure they weren't close.
1st surprise - the guy who answered our call offered to wait for an additional 10 minutes for us to pick up our pizza (the store closed at 12am). Well, after getting on the high-way -- we realized that there was no way we can make it there in 10 minutes (Why is there always traffic on 90/94?!!) and decided to call the pizza guy back.
2nd surprise -- he offered to wait as long as he could -- and if we get there before he decides to leave --- then it is OK or if not, it was fine too!!
Wow! I was completely shock!! This guy was willing to wait almost an additional 15-30mins after closing for us to pick-up a $5 pizza!! And to top it all off, once we got there.... he gave us 2 free bags of those Crazy Breads!! Haha... Of course, he probably just want to get rid of it but it was still nice to get free food. =) Patrick originally planned to give a little tip to thank him for staying and waiting -- but he was too shock by the nice jesture and just walked out stunned. Hahaha....
It's nice to know good customer service still exist.
Sounds like he's got upper management material (unlike me :-)
