On Saturday, Patrick and I attended the company outing at a White Sox game. It was my 1st baseball game - so, of course, I was really excited. I was probably more excited about the free food and drink (Hehehe) than the game itself -- but nonetheless, I was hyped up to go.
We had the Upper Terrace seating of the game. You can either sit outside or watch the game on the TVs inside. The weather was really nice -- so Patrick and I opted to stay outdoor. I have to honestly say that I enjoyed the game -- maybe that is because WE WON! Haha. Though I find baseball games very boring on TV, being there live with all those SOX fans (and two drinks later) made the game much more exciting. I also had trouble understanding the game -- so it was nice having Patrick explained to me what was going on in the field.
And is it just me or is the big bulletin board really distracting?!? I kept looking at that and forgetting that there was game going on!! They should really just post the game on the darn board! The close-up will be nice for fans up in the upper section.
The food, however, was really disappointing. All we got was some Sloppy Joe and hot dogs! Yuk! So much for my free dinner. =( Oh well... Should have known that my company is too cheap to pay for anything fancier. Haha. Thank goodness for the open bar!!
Next on my list to do is watch a Cub and Bears game. =)

YOOOOHOOOO
We're #1!!!!
i sooo wanted to buy one of those Number #1 FINGERS!!!
u cant forget about the FREE liquor. I didnt care who won!!!
that's too bad about the food. i've had some pretty good eats at u.s. cellular (for free). glad you had fun!
I called it "prison food" at the White Sox stadium. Did they served it in a metal tray?
Haha... They sure did --- Big ugly metal trays. What a disappointment! The dessert was horrible too -- some cold cookies and very sour fruits. =(
hmm... totally unlike my experience. we had all you can eat italian beef, hot dogs, ribs, chicken wings, and dessert--and more! and these were like huge pieces of cake. but this was in the skybox... i also have had meals in the picnic patio deck or whatever it's called, all you can eat food and all you can drink booze before the game.
Stll at work and bored...just another 8 monutes :(
