I really think Buddie's pituitary gland in the hypothalamus of his little brain is not working! Buddie will drink and drink and drink without stopping (or even know when to stop) and then he throws it all up within minutes afterward. He has this "habit" ever since he was a puppy. I don't understand why. But, whenever he see his water bowl... you can hear him slurping away -- and if you don't tell him to come up for air --- it is a guarantee that there will be a puddle of clear water right next to Buddie!!
He have this problem with food too -- but it is not as bad. Sometimes I think I overfeed him for his dinner -- and he will eat and eat and eat until you can hear him groan about his tummy-ache!

poor buddie. have you taken him to the vet yet?

it might have something to do with him being thirsty all the time....
They said its common for puppies to do that. Drink too fast then throw up. They said it is something they grow out of... Not too sure.. He still does it!
hmm, yeah maybe ask the vet why that is? i was going to say use classical conditioning on your dog, like pavlov's dog.. but i suppose that wouldn't make sense.
I'm sorry to hear about Buddy. He is such a nice dog. I would try talking to the vet about it. I hope you can figure out what is causing it.
Let's keep it real(er) Sis. We have that same problem too, except it's worse with food than water.
