Bye, Bye Walgreens! (At least for now... )

Walgreens -- As Far As You Want to Go. And this is as far as I would go with them. As of today, I am no longer a Full-Time employee of Walgreens. No more floating, no more 2-10pm shifts, no more hunger strike during lunch/dinner, no more dealing with insurance, no more yelling with customers, and no more arguments with doctors/nurses. Yeeeeah!! =)

I found a new job that is located only 10 minutes (local drive!!) from my new Skokie home. Actually, it is right by KenDog's company! The new company is a Long Term Care and Hospice facility. My hours are set and I only work 1 Saturday every month (Yes. I know it is hard to believe for the other 99% of the population that only works Mon thru Fri that even 1 Saturday a month is something to celebrate about!!). Oh... And I also get better vacations benefits. No more of the BS -- "Your vacations days had been denied" crap or you got to work 5 years before getting 3 weeks vacations!!

Though I would love to say I am completely "Walgreens-free" ... I decided to still do 2 Sundays a month. I figured, no matter what ... I don't want to lose my 4 years of senority. Besides, it would make my begging easier if I ever decided to go back. Haha. Hopefully, it will never come to that point!!
