Tonight Patrick and I tried out Bahama Breeze in Schaumburg (though the resturant is not new itself, it is "new" considering we never ate there before).
The outside of the resturant is nice ... with big white column and wall-to-wall windows -- it gave me the feeling that I just arrived at some resturant on a resort. The decor inside was not as impressive -- it was very typical (going along with the whole Bahama theme).
So onto the food ... due to a slight cold, I decided to stay away from shrimp -- so it narrowed down my choice to either fish, chicken or beef. Overall, the food was OK. Presentation was nice with each dish -- but the taste just didn't blow me away. A quote from Patrick "This is just a Bahama-version of Bennigan."
What We Ordered
Appetizer: Fresh Ahi Tuna Ceviche
Entree: Pan-Seared Tilapia and Jerk Atlantic Salmon
So the final verdict on this resturant? I give it 1.5/5 stars.

i've been to that bahama breeze. i agree. not very impressive.
(wait, shrimp's no good for a cold, but raw fish is?)
"This is just a Bahama-version of Bennigans!!!"
Everything else on the appetizer list was fried stuff (which would have killed my sore throat) -- so I take my chances with raw fish. Hehe.
Oh man!! I really wanted to try that place out! Thanks for saving us a trip
