My high speed internet is down!!
I remember a time of 56k flex technology and 1200 baud modems. Heck I have vague memories of the flip top modems where u put the handset of a phone on the modem, similar to the WAR GAMES movie. And now, i am internet-less. They say that there is a network outage. Im so spoiled with broadband! Ever since i could afford it back in 2000, i haven't had an outage, with earthlink or comcast. And now, I do. It must be the skokie folk downloading too much illicit material. My only salvation is the hacked access point on the other side of the wall of my pharmacy! Too bad Comcast doesnt offer any free dial up, i remember having earthlink giving me a few hours a month for times like this. Gawd, I might have to actually **gulp** "talk" to my room mate rather than IM him!
I remember when I was living at my parent's house, Comcast was down so often that I had to use Netzero as backup, which, I think, still offers free dial-up access.
Also, I hope you and Ken don't go crazy without internet... :-)
