Now that we are finally done with the lights ... we are moving on to the next project for the house --- SHADES! We stopped by at a dealer today (located on the 2nd floor of Chinatown Square) to look around, get a feel of what we want, and see how much of my arm and leg it will cost. Once again as a new homeowner ... I had no idea what I was looking for! The choices were overwhelming. Honeycomb... pleated .... double-pleated .... ???!! Since when did blinds become so complicated?! *frustrated*
just get regular old venetian blinds.
Yeah... Home Depot's mini-blinds are looking pretty good to me now! =P
harley and i went to home depot looking for new blinds...pricey, but not as bad as i expected
Consider Eddie E's Blinds and Draperies at 818 W. North Avenue, 312-951-0400. They are in the strip mall with the Crate & Barrel Outlet. (North Avenue and Clyborne). Nice selection, decent prices and a no finance charge plan worth considering.

Anyhows we probably check it out too. Make sure we get the right price. That chinatown place we probalby have to bargain and I not too good at that!!
