Got the 1st and 2nd season of SmallVille tonight from BestBuy. They had a promotion of buying both season and get $15 off --- so I figured "Why not?!" Patrick always seem to be attached to the series (or to Lana... Haha). As for me, I had only caught a couple of epsiodes here and there -- and it don't seem too bad. Going to try to watch it from the beginning and see how it all started.

You might not want to watch the entire 2 seasons all together. You'll see the story line repeats itself. The best affect is watch one episode each week. You should definitely watch tonight Smallville. Clark is going to learn to fly. It's what I've been waiting for since forever.
Just finished the 1st episode. Is it me or does series sorta assumed you know the story of Superman? Because I was kinda confused about the how meteor shower until Patrick explained to me. Hmm..
yeah, i think smallville went downhill after season 2... they should have kept the tention up between lana and clark.

I think the show picked up after the 1st season. Like any other series, the story line doesn't have direction so the writers try new things..
The new thing in season one was evey episode concentrating on one of smallville residents getting superpowers then losing them because Clark steps in.. it gets quite annoying after a while, but i suppose its a good startup that tells how messed up smallville is. I think direction gets placed after season 1.
And if anyone wants a copy, let me know and i can arrange something....
