Good Eating at Sangria Cafe

We ate at Sangria Café a few nights ago.

Maybe I’m a pig, maybe I’m just asking for too much, or maybe we didn’t order enough. 3 guys and 3 girls order 1 appetizer, 5 tapas, 2 entrees and 4 desserts. Hmm. Sounds like enough huh??? Not really. You could see Ken scraping away at one of the entrees and Anna stopping the bus boy from taking our precious scraps away. In the meantime, I was drowning out my hunger with the sweet taste of Sangria, Frank was reminiscing about Cancun, and Michelle was dreaming about the tacos we were going to pick up after dinner.

Our waiter kept coming to our table and asking how's the texture was in the food and if we needed more sangria. I think he did this as a tactic so we would get so drunk on alcohol that we wouldn’t notice that that plate of butter was really our whitefish tapas and that there wasn’t any rice in that paella. But this did leave space in our bellies for dessert. So we ordered away...

Anna ordered a crème brule which was presented nicely in a tilda symbol (~) and Michelle ordered a brownie which took them like 3 minutes to bake since they are "freshly baked." But the dessert of the day had to go to Ken’s Goat Cheese Balls. These made your taste buds go wild. It had sooo much flavor and umph in those. If you go there, you have to order it. Then after you order it, don't ever order it again. Franks said that it was salty, sour, spicy and cheesy all at the same time. Kinda think of a white cheese ball that is sour, deep fried and sprinkled with spicy pepper. YES that’s a goat cheese ball!

Great experience that I can only describe the food as "interesting"!!
